Our Veterinary Team
Friendly, experienced, and passionate — our dedicated team is here to provide exceptional care and support for you and your pet every step of the way.

Dr Rikus MRCVS
HEAD VETERINARIAN
Hi, I’m Rikus! I’ve been a vet since 2002 and love building relationships with clients while looking after their pets.

I especially enjoy meeting puppies and kittens and watching them grow into older pets.

When I’m not working, I enjoy family time, racketball, gardening, and running. I still have my classic VW Beetle—the first car I bought back in 1995!

If I could have any animal as a coworker, it would be a basset hound… though I’m not sure they’d make the best colleague!

I love working at Selsdon because everyone here is so friendly and welcoming.

Dr Tenielle MRCVS
VETERINARIAN
Hi, I’m Tenielle! I’ve been a veterinarian since 2020 and absolutely love connecting with clients—plus sneaking in a cuddle or two with their pets while helping them feel their best.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, playing board games, and when I can, doing escape rooms.

If I could have any animal as a co-worker, it would be a quokka—because they’re always smiling and would brighten up any day!
I love working at Selsdon Veterinary Surgery because every day brings new adventures, and the team here is truly amazing.

Zoe
PRACTICE MANAGER
Hi, I’m Zoe! I’ve been working in the veterinary field since 2003. I started out in nursing and, over the last two years, have moved into the management side of the practice.
I love that every day is different—meeting new patients and clients, and helping wherever I can.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and building memories together. I also love singing and serving on the youth team at my local church.

If I could have any animal as a coworker, it would be a spaniel—they’re full of energy and could sniff out all the biscuits and treats!

I enjoy working at Selsdon Veterinary Surgery for the great colleagues I work with and the chance to meet new people every day.
Hi, I’m Jacob! I’ve been working in the veterinary world for just under two years.
One of my favourite things is seeing retired greyhounds come in and find their forever homes.

Outside of work, I play korfball for Bromley Korfball Club and enjoy rock climbing. Fun fact: I used to have long hair, but I shaved my head!

If I could have any animal as a co-worker, it would be a monkey—because they can reach anywhere and hold things for me!

I enjoy working at Selsdon Veterinary Surgery because of the amazing people here.

Ronel
RECEPTIONIST
Hi, I’m Ronel! I’ve been working in veterinary care for just over a year, and I love that no two days are the same.

Every day brings unique patients and unexpected situations, which keeps things exciting.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy action movies (I’m a big James Bond fan), Pilates, and walking in the countryside. Fun fact: I got my first tattoo this year(2025)!

If I could have any animal as a coworker, it would be an octopus—imagine how helpful they’d be with multitasking!

I love working at Selsdon Veterinary Surgery because it’s part of the community, and we have a really fun and supportive team.
